Whole Birth® Yoga
Honor & celebrate this special time in your life with this 90 minute, gentle yoga practice designed to help ease many discomforts of pregnancy, while strengthening and preparing the body for birth. Each posture allows you to get in touch with your pregnant body, learn how to stay present and in the moment - useful techniques during your labor and birth. The Whole Birth ®Yoga and Support classes bring together all the elements of a traditional yoga class: stretching, strengthening, balancing, meditation and relaxation with support group discussions. It is the discussions which are treasured by the women in classes and is the reason why Whole Birth ®Yoga classes are unique! Whole Birth ® Yoga is a very gentle practice, it is recommended that you check with your midwife or OB before beginning any prenatal yoga class to ensure that it is appropriate for you during this pregnancy. Whole Birth ®Yoga was developed by Robin Sale, childbirth educator/counselor, perinatal hypnotherapist and prenatal yoga instructor. Your Whole Birth ®Yoga Instructor has completed training with Robin Sale and is a certified childbirth educator and birth doula. Instructional CD is included.
